HUMAN RELATIONAL ARCHITECTURE

Not every continuation
is legitimate.

What carries the next effect — now?

AI systems can learn, plan, coordinate, use tools and act with increasing autonomy.

But capability alone does not establish authority.

A system may have been authorized when a process started — while the conditions for its next real-world effect have already changed.

HRA asks a smaller question: What carries this concrete continuation, here and now?

No master node. No invented certainty. No automatic authority growth.

FOUR PRESSURE POINTS

Small distinctions.
Large consequences.

01

Evidence Verdict

Experience may guide the search. It does not become the proof.

02

Integrity Truth

A perfectly preserved record can still preserve something false.

03

Authorized at start Authorized at effect

A valid beginning does not automatically carry every later effect.

04

Capability Standing

What a system can do does not establish what it may make real.

HRA IN 60 SECONDS

Start with the effect.
Then trace what carries it.

HRA is an experimental relational framework for examining concrete continuations.

It does not begin by asking whether a system is generally safe, intelligent or trustworthy.

It asks: What concrete effect is about to occur — and what actually carries it?

01 Identify the effect

What exactly is about to become real?

02 Reach the relevant basis

Which references, relations, dependencies, scopes and conditions matter for this effect?

03 Test what carries it

Does the applicable relational structure support this concrete continuation now?

04 Do not invent certainty

The result may remain unresolved.

SUPPORTED

The relevant basis sufficiently carries the concrete continuation.

UNSUPPORTED

A required condition or carrying relation fails.

UNRESOLVED

The available basis does not justify a stronger conclusion.

UNRESOLVED is not permission. A judgement must not outgrow the basis that carries it.

WHAT HRA IS — AND IS NOT

A small framework.
Deliberately limited.

HRA IS

  • a framework for examining concrete continuations and real-world effects
  • relational rather than dependent on one central authority
  • designed to preserve provenance, scope, dependency and reconstructibility
  • explicitly falsifiable and open to reduction

HRA IS NOT

  • a model
  • a persona
  • a truth machine
  • a morality engine
  • a permanent human approval layer
  • a master node

AUTONOMY WITHOUT AUTOMATIC AUTHORITY GROWTH

Broad autonomy does not require unlimited standing.

An autonomous system should be able to learn, plan, choose tools, change routes and coordinate without requiring a human confirmation for every step.

But technical freedom over execution does not automatically enlarge the authority to create new real-world effects.

Recheck ≠ Human approval
Learning ≠ Authority growth
New capability ≠ New mandate
Start support ≠ Guaranteed completion support

The system does not need to ask again after every intermediate change.

Recheck when the basis carrying the next effect can differ from the basis that carried the start.

WE TRY TO BREAK IT

A framework should survive more than its own vocabulary.

HRA is not tested by asking whether new cases can be described in HRA terminology.

We begin in the foreign domain itself: its evidence, its language, its constraints and its own unresolved questions.

Only afterwards do we ask whether the current HRA structure survives the encounter — or whether something genuinely new is required.

01 Freeze the current claim

Do not move the framework to fit the case.

02 Enter the foreign domain

Preserve its own vocabulary and evidence structure.

03 Attack the current structure

Look for a real failure, not confirmation.

04 Reduce or revise

Add nothing unless the failure actually requires it.

Current discipline No new primitive before a real failure.

DIFFERENT DOMAINS. DIFFERENT VOCABULARIES.

Similar pressure points can appear for different reasons.

01

FORENSICS & EVIDENCE

Evidence can guide a search without becoming the verdict.

Provenance, missing material and competing interpretations remain part of the judgement.

02

AUDIT & PROVENANCE

Integrity can preserve a record without establishing its truth.

A technically intact chain can still carry a false, incomplete or misinterpreted claim.

03

AGENTIC AI

A legitimate start does not automatically carry every later effect.

Autonomy may continue while the relevant basis for a concrete effect changes.

04

CYBERSECURITY

Blocking one path does not necessarily block the relevant effect.

Failure detection, interruption and actual prevention are different questions.

These similarities are worth investigating.

Convergence is a research marker, not validation.

HRA does not become correct because another field encounters a structurally similar problem.

THE MODEL IS NOT THE NODE

Continuity must survive model change.

Models will change. Providers will change. Memory systems will change. Architectures will change.

A relational node should not depend on one model remaining in place forever.

The important question is not whether the same model continues speaking.

What must remain reconstructible so that a later system can still reach the relevant way back?
Model continuity ≠ Node continuity
Memory ≠ Mandate
Persistence ≠ Continuation right
Stored authorization ≠ Current authorization

Current minimal working direction

Preserve the relational way back. Origin · dependency · scope · change · revocation · effect

NO MASTER NODE

Coherence does not require forced sameness.

Different people, models and institutions may possess different evidence, histories, coverage and interpretations.

Difference does not automatically mean failure. And agreement does not automatically create authority.

01

Different views ≠ contradiction

Two nodes may see different parts of the same situation without either view becoming globally complete.

02

Consensus ≠ authority

Agreement may be informative. It does not create standing by itself.

03

Federation ≠ normative unification

Nodes may coordinate without collapsing their histories or judgement into one master perspective.

04

Shared effect → shared carrying path

When several nodes create one relevant effect, the carrying relation must become visible there.

No master knowledge. No master history. No permanent master evaluator.

Keep differences reconstructible.

CURRENT RESEARCH STATE

Status is not evidence.

HRA keeps research status separate from confidence, truth and public presentation.

A label describes where a claim currently stands in the research process. It does not carry the claim by itself.

01

FROZEN

Frozen Proven

A result held stable under a defined current attack set.

It remains falsifiable. Frozen does not mean universally established.

02

SUPPORTED UNDER CURRENT ATTACK SET

Supported Settled

A working result that has survived the attacks applied so far.

New evidence or a stronger attack may still force revision.

03

OPEN

Open Failed

A question that remains unresolved.

Missing resolution is not replaced by invented certainty.

04

EXPERIMENTAL

Experimental Validated

A structure, implementation or test being actively explored.

Experimental means testable, not established.

05

EXTERNAL TEST

External test Endorsement

A test conducted in a foreign domain or with material not built around HRA terminology.

The domain, source or participant does not thereby validate, adopt or endorse HRA.

Research labels help preserve differences between states.

A status label must never become evidence for the claim it describes.

DOCUMENTS / PROVENANCE

Do not trust the label.
Check what carries it.

HRA is not meant to be accepted as a finished theory.

Public research should remain traceable across versions, revisions, open questions and failed attacks.

01

Version

Which exact research state is being referenced?

02

Date

When did this state exist, and what was known at that time?

03

Status

Frozen, supported, open, experimental or externally tested?

04

Origin

Which source, author, dependency or external domain does the claim rely on?

05

Canonical reference

Which document is the relevant reference for this particular claim?

06

Change

What was revised, superseded, reduced or left unresolved?

Revision should not erase the path that led to it.

Preserve the history without turning history into permanent authority.

COLLABORATE

Bring a problem that does not speak HRA.

We are interested in domains, cases and systems that can put the current structure under real pressure.

The preferred starting point is not an HRA interpretation.

Begin in the foreign domain. Map only afterwards.

05

Domain-specific pressure points

A useful collaboration does not require agreement.
